Light Kinesiology is passionate about assisting and supporting valued clients towards health and wellbeing.

Trained kinesiologists look at the whole being. 

This includes physical, emotional, nutritional,neurological, mental, social, energetic and spiritual aspects of you. 

To communicate with you and your subconscious through muscle monitoring. 

I choose to compassionately and supportively assist you to move out of stress, old trauma, outmoded patterns and belief systems and confusion and retrain and regain your own innate ability to self heal and realign.

As Dr George Goodheart DC, (dec’d May 2008) the father of Kinesiology said,

 “ The body is simply intricate and intricately simple”. 

“ If you supply the right measure you will get the right result.”  

In short Kinesiology provides amazingly simple, powerful methods for changing the way you think, feel, act and learn. 

I found it so amazing, I changed my career to study and become kinesiologists so I could help others with this amazing modality.

THE RELEVANCE OF BALANCE
Many of us are busy these days, driven by our wants and needs, our commitments and obligations, hopefully heading towards our desired goal of happiness for ourselves and our loved ones. Sometimes things flow beautifully and harmoniously. Life supports you and you are swimming effortlessly downstream in the flow of life. Other times it can feel more of a struggle, with obstacles, pain, confusion and upset. We feel out of synchronicity with our journey and the universal flow. It is like swimming upstream, backstroke and perhaps blindfolded. When this struggle occurs, more often than not, overwhelm can become our new normal and our hopes and dreams become lost or a distant memory. It can be said that we feel out of synchronicity with life and are not aligning with the universal flow. We can also limit our hopes and expectations and can feel less enthusiastic as a result. This is where kinesiology can benefit.
FINDING BALANCE
A kinesiology session is called a balance. It is called this because this is what occurs. It is a means of finding your subconscious stressors and blocks, bringing them to your conscious awareness for processing, allowing your body’s own innate wisdom to realign and release. This way you are able to grow through experience towards the evolution of your consciousness. You are awakening the innate healer within. When you find or regain balance, the body is in a state of homeostasis. An optimal state for regeneration, repair and renewal and growth. Your subconscious self, embraces all aspects of you. Your physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual self. You are such a complex system of interactions between yourself and your environment. In order to find balance, you must find balance in relation to yourself as a whole being. Conscious and subconscious. It is in finding your own balance and centeredness that you can then witness the changes in that which surrounds you.

If you are open minded. If you are ready to move out of feeling resistance, pain, blocked, restricted or stuck in any way. If you are ready and willing to take responsibility for your contribution towards the experience. If you choose to move gracefully forward. If you want to tap into your own innate ability to realise your true nature, your hopes and dreams and enjoy the process then kinesiology is perfect for you.
HOW DOES KINESIOLOGY WORK
The Kinesiologist will use your muscles to detect stress. The stress will be gently unpackaged to create context for the balance. Various methods are used to diffuse the stress and find and maintain balance and continue to strengthen you as you become more integrated. These methods are far reaching and as individual as each client, ranging from acupressure, acupoints, affirmations, sound, essences, chakras, self-awareness, past emotional processing and theta brain wave visualisations.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A KINESIOLOGY SESSION
The balance starts with a short discussion about your health, past and current conditions and expectations of the balance. It is a good idea to wear comfortable clothes, not too tight, remove shoes, belts, watches, phones, bulky jewellery and hair clasps. You will then lay fully clothed on a massage table. The kinesiologist will monitor an arm muscle to communicate with your bodies awareness and the balance will follow with muscles checked, balanced and rechecked. Be aware that feelings and emotions can sometimes surface during the balance and they will subside as the energy shifts. Reacting, blocking out or resisting these emotions may slow down the balance. It is good to openly communicate this to the kinesiologist to maintain feedback as the session proceeds. This also keeps you engaged and present during the balance.
